VIT EXPO INC. – VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL EXPO and VANCOUVER WEDDING EXPO
SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2023 – VANCOUVER CONVENTION CENTRE
CONTEST RULES
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. No purchase or payment of money is necessary to enter. To enter the VIT EXPO Contest, enter your name, email address and phone number on the available ipads at the ticket booth on the day of the event.
2. LIMIT OF ONE ENTRY DURING EXPO PER PERSON. Subsequent entries determined to be submitted from the same email address or from the same individual using different email addresses is in violation of this rule will be declared ineligible.
3. TIME PERIOD. This contest begins on Sept. 1st, 2023 and ends on Sept. 30th to process all contest entries, or until all the prizes have been won.
4. PRIZE(S). Prizes to be awarded are listed in the Program Guide. Prizes have No Immediate Cash Value.
5. DRAWING. Winner(s) will be randomly selected the week after the Expo and winners will be notified by email. If no reply to our email we will attempt to contact winners by phone to arrange acceptance of their prize. If no prize is claimed after one week after the close of the contest then alternative winners will be selected. The odds of winning depend upon a maximum number of entries.
6. ELIGIBILITY. The contest draw is open to only legal residents of the Canada, except Quebec, who are at least 18 years of age at time of entry. Players will not receive more than one prize during the Expo. This offer is void where prohibited or restricted by federal, provincial, or local laws. VIT EXPO INC. employees and their immediate families of VIT EXPO and its affiliates (agencies, cooperating advertisers, etc.) are ineligible. Each winner, if asked, must execute an affidavit that winner has complied with all the rules and that winner consents that VIT EXPO INC. and anyone else it may authorize may use winner’s name, photograph or other likeness, biographical information and statements concerning the contest without compensation for purposes of advertising and promotion.
Only one prize per entrant. If the same person using different email address only one prize will be awarded and cannot be combined with other winners.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS. VIT EXPO INC. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the contest should virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention, technical failures or any other factor beyond VIT EXPO INC.’s reasonable control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the contest. VIT EXPO INC. reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it determines to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of this contest or to be acting in violation of these official rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
8. DATA COLLECTION. Sponsor and promoters collect personal information from you when you enter the promotion. The information collected is subject to the VIT EXPO INC. Privacy Policy. All entrants by submitting their email address agree to opt in to receive a confirmation email of any prize winning.
9. WINNER(S) LIST. If you would like the name of the grand prize winners, send email request with subject line “Contest Winners VIT EXPO” – events@vitexpo.ca Requests will only be accepted after the contest period has ended and no later than October 31st, 2023.
10. DAMAGES. User expressly understands and agrees that we shall not be liable for any loss or damage (direct, indirect, punitive, actual, consequential, incidental, special, exempt or otherwise) resulting from any use of, or inability to use, this website, or resulting from any errors or omissions in the content of this website, regardless of the basis upon which liability is claimed, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
